Ultra Products Bows USB Hubs, Card Reader

FLETCHER, OHIO — Ultra Products has introduced two new USB hubs and a memory card reader/writer.
The seven-port Buddy Hub is designed to allow users to connect as many as seven peripherals to two PCs at the same time. Intended for small businesses or the home, the product carries a suggested retail price of $29.99.
The four-port USB 2.0 Hub lets users connect up to four USB 2.0 high-speed peripherals to a single computer while taking up only one of the computer's built-in USB ports. The product is said to be portable enough to allow it to be paired with either a desktop or notebook computer. It has a bandwidth of 480Mbps and is backward compatible with USB 1.1 products. It comes with a USB A to B 1m cable and an AC power adapter. It carries a suggested retail of $19.99.
Beyond USB hubs, Ultra Products also recently released its All-in-1 Card Reader/Writer which the company says reads "all popular digital media formats." The product is designed to make it easier to transfer materials such as images, music and other data to a PC. The suggested $19.99 reader/writer is said to be fully compatible with both USB 1.1 and 2.0 formats. It features plug-and-play installation and has LED power indicator lights for power and media access status.
