Audiobahn Ships Amplifier, Subwoofer
Brea, Calif. — Audiobahn is shipping a new high-performance amplifier and subwoofer. The A2300HCT can produce 2400 watts at a 1 ohm load at $999.
The AW1200V 12-inch subwoofer handles up to 700 watts RMS at a suggested $199. Also available are 10-inch and 15-inch models.
Scosche Ships Toyota Interface
Oxnard, Calif. — Scosche is shipping an interface for Toyota vehicles that allows customers to replace the factory radio with an aftermarket head unit and keep the factory amplifier and speakers. The TA07SR radio replacement interface has an estimated retail of $149.
Peripheral Introduces Two Steering Interfaces
Clearwater, Fla. — Peripheral Electronics is shipping two new steering-wheel control interfaces. The PESWIAKJC is designed for Alpine, Kenwood, JVC and Clarion aftermarket stereos. It allows users to replace their factory head unit while retaining the steering-wheel controls on select models from GM, Ford, Audi, Chrysler, Mitsubishi, Land Rover, Harley Davidson, BMW, Mini, Nissan, Saab, Honda/Acura, Mazda, Volkswagen, Jaguar, KIA and Toyota.
Also new is a universal CANBUS adapter called the PESWICAN that lets owners of select late-model Audi, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Mercedes, and Volkswagen vehicles retain their factory steering-wheel controls when installing an aftermarket stereo. Both adapters are available at a suggested retail of $105 each.
