ARLINGTON, VA. — The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) reports that its president/CEO Gary Shapiro will deliver the opening keynote address at Hometech Middle East, the region's largest trade show for consumer technology, being held in Dubai May 13-15.

Executives from CEA's board of Industry Leaders, including Noel Lee, head monster, Monster Cable, and Jay McLellan, president/CEO, Home Automation, as well as CEA's industry relations senior VP Todd Thibodeaux, are also slated to deliver remarks at the event.

Produced by Messe Frankfurt and sponsored by CEA, Hometech Middle East will be held at the Dubai International Convention Centre in Dubai, UAE.

As part of CEA's partnership with Messe Frankfurt and the association's commitment to grow the consumer technology industry and expand international business opportunities, CEA will lead a delegation to Hometech Middle East, which will include members of the CEA Board of Industry Leaders and press.

Hometech 2007 is expected to surpass the 2006 show in terms of exhibitor growth and exhibit space by more than 50 percent. For more information, please visit www.hometechexpo.com.
