Peerless Introduces New TV Stands
Denver — Peerless Industries, Chicago-based maker of professional-grade mounting solutions, has introduced a new line of flat-panel TV stands for LCD and plasma TVs measuring from 32- to 50-inches, weighing up to 150 pounds. The stands were first displayed at CEDIA 2006, held here last week. Each stand features two glass shelves, capable of holding about 50 pounds each. The stands also come with an internal cable management system and options like vertical screen adjustment and incremental tilt of -2 degrees, 0 degrees and 5 degrees. The stands will be available at retail in black or silver in November. Models with clear glass shelves will start at a suggested $529, black models with smoke glass shelves will start at $569.
ifrogz Offers Custom iPod Cases
Logan, Utah — ifrogz has introduced a three-piece iPod case that the company says offers consumers 300,000 possible color combinations to make their iPod stand out as their own. The company says the silicone cases have been specially treated to resist dust and dirt. Consumers are encouraged to select each of the three components individually and combine them to create a unique case. The Wrapz cover the main portion of the player, the Bandz portion wraps around the sides of the player and the Screenz covers the iPod's click wheel.
