Koss Takes Sound On The Go

MILWAUKEE — Koss is introducing The Clef, a new earbud designed to be carried on its included keychain. The “ultra-lightweight” earbud has frequency response of 40-20,000 Hz. It also includes retractable cord for users to adjust the length according to preference and a bonus LED flashlight.

The Clef has a suggested retail price of $19.99 and is covered under the manufacturer's lifetime warranty.

Honeywell Cable Gets New Packaging

PLEASANT PRAIRIE, WISC. — Honeywell's Genesis Series Cable Products division will now offer home theater audio and video cables in new Clear Coil packaging. The transparent packaging is designed to eliminate the twists and tangles often found when using cable on traditional reels.

The Clear Coil package does away with the traditional spool/reel method and instead allows the installer to unravel the cable themselves. The Clear Coil packaging will make its debut with the 100-foot coils of Genesis Crystal Series cables.

Abbi New York Targets Women With Bag Line

LOS ANGELES — Two new brocade print laptop bags for women are available from Abbi New York. Each bag can carry up to a 15.4-inch notebook, which is protected by the included Dura Flex padding. The bags also feature additional sections and pockets for accessories and gel shoulder straps for comfort. Made from silk brocade fabric the line's signature pink lining, the Sienna (lavender flower print) and the Natalie (red and light blue with flowers) are each set to retail for just under $100.

MAGIX Cleaning Up

MIAMI—MAGIX introduces its Audio Cleaning Lab 11, software designed to help users restore, recover and re-master music from their record, CD, MP3, LP and tape collections and convert them into new music with special effects. The Audio Cleaning Lab 11 gives users the option of renewing music automatically or to add more detail and layers with 40 studio effects like surround sound, advanced MP3 sound and more.

The new AudioID feature automatically assigns title, artist and album information to tracks so users avoid having to enter the data manually.

The Audio Cleaning Lab 11 is available immediately for a suggested $39.99.
