Sanus Mount Supports Large, Medium TVs

By Staff -- TWICE, 6/19/2006

St. Paul, Minn. — A new pull-out cabinet mount that extends beyond the interior of new or pre-existing cabinets and armoires is being introduced by Sanus Systems. The mount allows angled viewing of medium to large flat-panel TVs.

Called VisionMount model VMPO1b, the unit is designed to fit 15-inch to 50-inch LCD and plasma TVs with a total weight capacity of 130 pounds. It is said to virtually fit all flat-panel TVs of those weights and sizes, and is VESA 100 and VESA 200 compatible. An optional tilting mount can be added to the VMPO1b to add tilt motion for both LCD and plasma TVs.

Model VMPO1b is made of heavy-gauge steel for strength and durability. Its ball bearings allow for smooth motion, even under the weight of large plasma TVs.

In addition for use in existing cabinets and armoires, model VMPO1b also is custom designed to go with the Sanus furniture-line armoire, model CFAR47.

The mount is shipping at a suggested $219.99 retail.
