Belkin TunePower For iPod Introduced

By Staff -- TWICE, 4/24/2006

Compton, Calif. — The new Belkin TunePower for video-capable iPod keeps a user's videos and tunes playing even when the internal battery is drained, said the company.

This rechargeable battery pack allows up to six hours of additional video playtime, depending on Apple iPod firmware version in use. The TunePower also features a small and compact design with a low-level power indicator so users can monitor when batteries are low.

Model F8Z088 Tune- Power for video-capable iPod, shipping in late March, has a suggested $79.99 retail. The product allows for about two hours of video viewing.

Two sleeves are included to fit 30GB and 60GB iPod video devices, and the unit features a protective case design to prevent dirt, dust or impact from damaging the connector. An AC adapter is included for simultaneous charging and playing.
