Compact, Drawer-Style Charger Debuts

By Staff -- TWICE, 4/10/2006

Woburn, Mass. — A “sleek” charger from Uniross Batteries has been designed matchbox-style, enclosing the batteries “safely” within a simple and slim silver charger.

The High Speed “compact drawer-style” charger powers up AAA/AA cells in 60 minutes or less, and consumers are able to charge their batteries at home and on the road with a “convenient” car cord accessory.

The charger includes four AA and two AAA maximum-capacity nickel metal-hydride batteries, and is designed for use with digital cameras, audio players and other high-drain devices. Intelligent charge controls indicate charge complete, bad-cell detection and advanced safety circuitry.

Suggested retail is $34.99.
