National Geographic, Bogen Team For Photo Bags

By Staff -- TWICE, 2/27/2006

Ramsey, N.J. — National Geographic is teaming with Bogen Imaging, whereby Bogen will be the exclusive distributor of the National Geographic Earth Explorer PhotoBag collection in North America.

The collection, which consists of a medium camera pouch, small- and medium-sized shoulder bags and medium- and large-sized backpacks, brings an ideal blend of today's cutting-edge protective carrying technology and a traditional “explorer” look and feel, said Bogen.

The collection is said to deliver innovative, high quality photo bags to the market. The bags are pointed toward outdoor photographers, hikers, backpackers, bird watchers and day trippers who want to record their adventures with a digital or film SLR, point-and-shoot camera or small camcorder.

Suggested retail for the NG 1152 medium camera pouch is $25; the NG 2343 small shoulder bag is $60; NG 2475 medium shoulder bag, $100; NG 5162 medium backpack, $150; and NG 5737 large backpack, $260.
