Las Vegas — Nyko Technologies introduced at CES the PSP on TV, called an “innovative” product that brings PSP movies and games to home theater. It has a convenient new snap-on design allowing viewers to play PSP games and watch UMD movies directly on the TV screen without having to modify personal PSP settings, said Nyko.
Included RCA cables through the standard video-in jack on the television makes it easy for a user to set up and tuner adjustments are not required, said the Los Angeles-based Nyko. Suggested retail and availability date had not been determined at press time.
Nyko also is introducing its iPod remote with display that features a remote control and dust-shielded docking base. The iPod remote with display allows for iPod use anywhere in the room, said the company.
Users can browse through artists and song tracks on an LCD display screen visible on the remote. The product connects to any television, displaying the iPod menu, photos or video straight to the television. It works with any iPod on the market. Suggested retail and availability had not been determined at press time.
