Key Wall Mounts To Large Plasma, LCD TVs

By STaff -- TWICE, 12/5/2005

St. Paul, Minn. — Two new ergonomically designed mounts for large plasma displays or LCD televisions are available from Ergotron. Mounts have an ergonomic design that is said to help cut glare, improve sightlines for optimal viewing and provide an extremely slim profile for 32-inch to 61-inch plasma displays or LCD TVs weighing up to 175 pounds.

The WM low-profile wall mount is a rigid mount that has a suggested $79.99 retail.

The TM tilting wall mount is based on Ergotron's proprietary Constant Force pivot motion technology, where users exert minimal effort in adjusting a display. The motion is smooth, and once the display is adjusted it maintains a constant position until the next adjustment is made, said the company. The mount has no knobs or levers to activate the tilt motion or hold the position of the display. Suggested retail is $129.
