Norcent Ships New LCD-TV Family

SAN DIMAS, Calif. — Norcent said it is now shipping a new family of LCD-TV monitors comprising four models in the 20-inch, 27W-inch and 32W-inch screen sizes.

Three of the four models in the series include built-in PC input, and all feature a 181-channel NTSC/cable tuner with MTS, SAP, closed caption and V-chip.

All models feature sleek black styling, 170-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles and built-in stereo speakers with Dolby Digital surround sound. Inputs include composite, S-video and component video.

Two 20-inch models offer EDTV resolution and 4:3 screen sizes, while the 27W-inch and 32W-inch models offer full HDTV resolution.

The 32W-inch LT-3222 (which ships this month at a $1,399.99 suggested retail) features 1,366 by 768 pixel resolution and 550 cd/m2 brightness. Contrast is listed at 1,000:1. A PC input is included.

The 27W-inch LT-2722 ($999.99 suggested retail) features 1,280 by 720 pixel resolution, 550 cd/m2 brightness and a 600:1 contrast ratio. A PC input is included.

The 20-inch LT-2022 ($549 suggested retail) lists a screen resolution of 640 by 480 pixels, 500 cd/m2 brightness and a 500:1 contrast ratio.

The 20-inch LT-2023 ($579 suggested retail) offers 800 by 600 pixel resolution, 500 cd/m2 brightness and a 500:1 contrast ratio. A PC input is included.
