Uniross Battery Charger Travels The World

By Staff -- TWICE, 9/26/2005

Woburn, Mass. — The Pocket Globe Trotter from Uniross is a travel battery charger dedicated to travelers who want to recharge their batteries anywhere in the world. Sold with three international plugs — for the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States — the Globe Trotter can be used in 90 percent of the countries in the world, according to Uniross.

The company, which says the Globe Trotter is the smallest, lightest and most portable 4-battery charger in the world, notes that it fits easily into a pocket, brief case, purse or suitcase.

It is said to last three times longer than disposable batteries on each charge, with included cells; recharge as often as needed for up to three years; give a full charge in less than two hours for AAA and less than five hours for AA; and include travel adapters and two 2100mAh nickel metal-hydride batteries.

Suggested retail is $19.99.
