Markham, Ontario— Three new chargers have been added to the CamPower line of rechargeable battery kits made by Gentec International. The trio includes 2600mAh rechargeable batteries ideal for high-drain consumer electronics products. These also include both an AC adapter and DC car adapter, along with international power compatability.

Gentec's CP6000, at a suggested $49.95 retail, charges four 2600mAh cells in two hours. It also includes a USB cable for charging through a computer's USB port. Four LED lights indicate the charging status of each battery.

The CP7000 charges four 2600mAh cells in one hour and includes an LCD display to show charging status. Suggested retail is $69.95.

The top-of-the-line CP8000, at a suggested $79.95 charges four 2600mAh cells in 30 minutes. Four LED lights indicate charging status and an audible alarm sounds to indicate the batteries have been fully charged.

All three CamPower chargers feature reverse polarity protection, plus a safety timer and delta-T and negative delta-V cut-off to prevent overheating and overcharging. Units are capable of charging one to four nickel metal-hydride AA or AAA batteries independently.
