Greg Gudorf, Sony home products TV marketing division VP, joins Digeo as president/COO. Gudorf joins Mike Fidler, who recently had been named Digeo's new CEO and was Sony's home products division marketing senior VP, was formerly Gudorf's boss at Sony. Gudorf will oversee all company operations on a day-to-day basis, with particular emphasis on product delivery, process improvement and integration with MSO head-end systems. Bert Kolde, who had been serving as chief operating officer, will continue leading the company's sales and marketing team... Michael Troetti, executive VP of the Sharp Electronics' consumer electronics group, named president of Sharp Electronics Marketing Company of America (SEMCA), effective Sept. 21. Troetti replaces Noboru Fujimoto, who becomes group deputy general manager of the Solar Systems Group ... Maxell named Daniel Lee, former marketing communications director of LG Electronics U.S.A., as marketing, advertising and sales support VP at Maxell for company's consumer, data and professional product groups … Jeff Lubitsky, ex-ViewSonic sales manager, named sales and marketing VP of Richard Gray's Power Co … Rick Maurer appointed sales VP at AgfaPhoto … James L. Sherbert named CEO at ready-to-assemble and case goods furniture maker Bush Industries, succeeding Michael Buenzow of FTI Consulting who has been serving as interim CEO for the past 18 months ... Elizabeth Huh, a veteran of various conference and exposition planning organizations, joins CEDIA as operations and finance senior director ... Jeff Forgan named chief financial officer at The Sharper Image, replacing Jeff Nachbor, who has left the company …John Goldsberry was named Gateway's chief financial officer, replacing Rod Sherwood who is retiring … The Home Depot's Tom Taylor has succeededJohn Costello as merchandising and marketing executive VP. Costello has left the company, and Joe DeAngelo, formerly president of supply, was tapped to fill Taylor's former role as executive VP/stores … Michael Schroeder appointed OEM VP at Audiovox and Code Systems, a wholly owned Audiovox subsidiary, responsible for all original equipment auto sales ... Gerry Demple, former services senior VP for Ultimate Electronics, joins MTI, a maker of interactive merchandising displays for CE retailers, as VP/general manager of service, a new post... Office Depot's board member Patricia McKay named executive VP and chief financial officer of the office supply chain, succeedingCharles Brown who became president of Office Depot International in April ... Peter Hoagland, ex-Russound, joins Leisure Tech Electronics as marketing/media relations manager ... John DiFrenna named D-Link's channel sales president for the United States and Mexico.
