NARDA Sets Fall Institute

-- TWICE, 9/5/2005

Lombard, Ill. — The North American Retail Dealers Association (NARDA), here, will hold its Fall Institute of Retail and Service Center Management program Oct. 14-17 at the Oak Brook Hills Resort in Oak Brook, Ill.

Presentations will provide business education to owners and managers, covering such topics as sales training, financial management, local marketing, employee retention, best practices in service, selling high-end, working with builders and architects, and loss prevention.

“We're really excited about our lineup this fall,” said NARDA's president Tom Drake. Highlights will include a field trip to nearby Abt Electronics led by president Mike Abt, plus keynotes by marketing expert Tom Feltenstein and consumer advocate Fay Wood. Feltenstein will discuss the power of local marketing and how to create action plans that produce sales results, while Wood will teach attendees how to gain customer loyalty, differentiate their businesses and create powerful word-of-mouth advertising.

Complete program information, including registration, is available online at www.narda.com. Tuition scholarships granted by program sponsors are available to qualifying NARDA members.
