MB Quart Launches U.S. Subsidiary

PHOENIX — MB Quart GmbH has announced that it has completed the formation of a U.S. subsidiary called MB Quart Corporation, and has appointed Illusion Audio, here, as its exclusive distributor in the United States.
As of July 15, Illusion Audio will take charge of MB Quart sales, marketing and customer service. Illusion Audio's president and marketing VP, Jeff Peter and Brian Sherman, respectively, are both former MB Quart employees.
MB Quart GmbH in Germany was placed in receivership in October 2004 by then-owner Rockford Corporation.
A spokesman for MB Quart Corp. said, “MB Quart is still operating in receivership. However, over the past six to nine months, it has been able to adjust operations such that the company can run independently during the ongoing search for the right investor. Currently, MB Quart is in serious negotiations with interested investors, and while there is no guarantee, it has been MB Quart's objective from the start to align itself with an investment partner who would maintain the existing sales and marketing infrastructure already in place.”
