Allsop Photo-Disc Storage Line Rides Digital Photo Wave

By Staff -- TWICE, 6/6/2005

Bellingham, Wash. — In order to help consumers further enjoy the ease and convenience of digital photography, Allsop is introducing a new line of home storage products.

Called photo disc storage boxes and photo-disc albums, 11 SKUs in this photo-disc storage assortment include a variety of color, style and size options that coordinate with the company's lifestyle collections of decorative media storage and computer accessories.

Storage boxes and albums can be used by scrap-booking hobbyists or anyone looking to safely, securely and fashionably store digital-photo discs. The functional albums, which help reduce home or office clutter, make disc location easy, said Allsop. The line's decorative appeal also provides continuity within home or office décor.

The photo-disc album 20 in gray or blue holds and protects discs from scratches. Discs are placed in flexible pages with a title card on the spine for personalization and identification of contents. This allows users to create themed collections using multiple albums. Suggested retail is $7.99.

Photo-disc storage boxes protect and organize discs contained in plastic jewel cases or paper sleeves. The photo-disc storage 18 in black and white is $8.99 suggested retail. The same box in fabric black and fabric natural has a suggested $12.99 retail.

Other disc storage solutions include the photo-disc album 32 in brown faux leather, at $24.99. This can coordinate with the Allsop Contemporary Classics collection of media storage and computer accessories for a larger decorative statement.

In the spirit of its Family Portrait collection, Allsop is offering the photo-disc album 32 fabric black and fabric natural at $13.99. Another version is the photo-disc album black and white, at $10.99, matching the style and look of the company's Vivid collection.

Matching photo-disc storage boxes also tie into these decorative collections, whereby consumers can mix and match the photo albums and boxes with other media storage accessories to create an organized digital-age home that also is stylish, said Allsop.

The photo disc storage boxes and albums had been scheduled for spring shipment.
