Camarillo, Calif.— Versatility, adaptability, flexibility and power are the quartet of key words Lenmar Battery Solutions is using for its Mach 1 Fusion-USB SpeedCharger. The all-in-one unit can charge 2.4-volt to 7.4-volt lithium ion, nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) and nickel cadmium camcorder, digital camera and AA/AAA NiMH batteries. And at the same time, it can simultaneously or independently charge cellphones, PDAs, iPods or MP3 devices through a supplied USB power port, while rapidly charging batteries on the base unit.
Lenmar is gearing its “power house” as an “indispensable” traveling companion, when combined with high-performance NiMH batteries at 2500mAh or lower. The company's proprietary NeoTherm2 technology delivers the Mach 1's rapid charge, while continually measuring energy acceptance and battery temperature to extend battery life and increase performance. High-speed recharging can be completed in 30 minutes, said Lenmar.
Plug connectors, which are included, fit most Sony/Ericsson, Motorola, Samsung, Nokia and other major makers' cellphones. The unit fits all AA/AAA batteries and most Sony, Canon, Olympus, JVC and Nikon camcorder and digital camera batteries. Over 24 optional adapter plates besides the packaged six are available. Also included are cable, power port, two AA NoMemPro 2000mAh batteries and an international AC adapter and DC car cord. The system offers a three-level LED system which indicates medium, high and maximum charge. Suggested retail is $129.95.
