Fellowes Intros Technology, Cellular Storage

Itasca, Ill. — A trend in portable accessories has moved the business toward lifestyle-oriented products, which creates a need for cases that offer better durability, according to Fellowes, maker of the Body Glove active lifestyle brand.

Through Body Glove, Fellowes is offering a line-up that includes technology and cellular gear, which takes in lifestyle products with the right form, additional function and custom fit to protect portable devices such as CDs, digital cameras and MP3 players.

The iPod Case, at a suggested $19.99, offers sporty styling and slim profile in a rubberized case that includes a rear swivel-clip that attaches to a belt or bag.

The Lifesport MP3 Case, at $8.99, holds most small MPs players, iPod Mini or other mini MP3 players, firmly on a belt or bag with a swivel clip. It includes a pocket to stow media, money or keys, with headphone access through a side opening.

The Lifesport MP3 Armband, at a suggested $14.99, holds an MP3 player firmly in place during activity. It also fits an iPod Mini and other mini MP3 players, and includes a front storage pocket.

Fellowes' Sport CameraSuit, which ranges between $12.99 and $15.99, fits most cameras and incorporates multiple pockets for storing memory cards and removable media. The Scuba CameraSuit, in the same price range, is said to be a first with its durable neoprene materials. The case conforms to the camera for a form-fitted and stylish look.

The Scuba Cellsuit, at $24.99, offers a “unique” rubberized material to protect against drops and the elements. The case includes textured side grips for grasping ease.

The Fusion Cellsuit, at $29.99, offers a rugged, sporty look with the rubberized material, while the neoprene Cellsuit, at $24.99, has a traditional look and a soft, shock-absorbent neoprene material.

CDs and DVDs get maximum protection with the Scuba CD/DVD wallets, ranging from $7.99 to $14.99 retail. Available in 12- , 32- and 64-capacity sizes, the product has double-lined sleeves to protect discs from heat and moisture.

The Scuba CD Player Case, at $14.99, holds a portable CD player and four or more CD/DVDs, while the Scuba DVD Player Sleeve, at $19.99, holds and transports DVD players up to 10 inches in size. It features two inside pockets for DVDs or other essentials.

The Sport CD/DVD wallets, at $9.99 to $29.99, feature racing stripes and sleek detailing in sport colors. Outside pockets are convenient for quick storage. The Blaze CD/DVD wallets, at $9.99 to $14.99, boast red and black textured material with contrast stitching. These come in 32- and 64 capacity sizes.
