See story on pg. 62.)... Francis J. Sweeney, executive VP/COO of TDK U.S.A. Corp., named president. Sweeney reports to CEO Kenichi Aoshima, who plans to retire in the coming year... Dave Tovissiis named VP/in-home services and Frank Roshinskiis promoted to VP/video merchandising at Tweeter Home Entertainment...Yong Jin Park, is named president of Samsung's U.S. IT division; previously he held the same post with Samsung's Latin American division…Bruce Franklin, president/GM of Al Franklin's Musical World, joins Triad Speakers as Eastern regional sales manager... Ken Lam, CEO of PC/CE e-tailer Newegg.com, promoted to vice chairman and strategic officer Simon Hsieh is named CEO… Kai Clarke, COO at Compact Power Systems, maker of Cellboost disposable battery/chargers for cellphones, named president, replacing Todd Ruhalter, who has left the company. Other Cellboost changes include Patrick Byrne, promoted to new post of senior VP/sales; Rodney Rad, tapped as the company's first marketing director; and Randy Miller, hired as new international VP/sales.
