Imation Printable Media Provides More Flexibility

Oakdale, Minn. — Data storage media provider Imation has made available its full line of printable CD and DVD media. The new printable optical media is said to provide more printable area for users, allowing consumers to further personalize their CDs and DVDs by printing more photos or graphics directly on the entire disc surface.

The print surface of Imation's printable optical media extends all the way to the hub, offering greater design possibilities. Everyday users can customize the discs containing their home movies, wedding albums, photo scrapbooks or special digital memories.

Benefits from the printable media include greater creativity, less time and money, and drive protection. The media is available in white, silver or gold surfaces, in recording speeds up to 52x for CDs and 8x for DVDs. The discs also are available in various pack sizes.
