Staff -- TWICE, 9/6/2004

NEW YORK — Eddie Dees (above left) celebrated his 50th anniversary with metro New York retailer Harvey Electronics with a party with fellow employees, reps, family and friends recently, at a reception at Eamonn's Bar & Grill on East 45th Street, here, hosted by the chain's president Franklin Karp (above right). Dees was hired by the chain's founder Harvey Samson in 1954 as a warehouse employee and driver. Over the years he became a salesman and is currently head of security and greeter at the 77-year-old chain's West 45th Street store.
