Target Corp. soft lines veteran Luis Padillahas joined Sears in the new role of merchandising president, with responsibility for the merchandising and marketing of all Sears products and brands. Formerly executive VP/merchandising for Target’s Marshall Field’s department store division, Padilla was senior VP/soft lines merchandising for Target’s namesake discount stores from 1994 to 2001. He will report directly to Sears’ chairman/CEO Alan Lacy... Nick Isbouts, most recently senior VP of Philips Division Consumer Electronics, joins D&M Holdings as president of D&M sales and marketing/Europe... Conn’s has promoted comptroller David Rogers to chief financial officer designate, to succeed current chief financial officer C. William Frank upon his retirement in March. Rogers, in turn, will be succeeded by new hire Mike PopeRic Mancuso, ex-Monster Cable, was hired as sales coordinator for Triad Speakers, and Mike Budd and David Bailey were promoted to regional sales managers… Eliott Peck has been named VP/general manager of sales for Canon’s consumer imaging division.
