PhatNoise Bows Digital Media Player For Mazda

LOS ANGELES — PhatNoise Inc., which co-produces the Kenwood Music Keg, said it is supplying digital music players for several Mazda vehicles to be available this month at more than 700 Mazda dealerships. PhatNoise said it custom designed digital players for the new MAZDA3, MAZDA6, MX-5 Miata and RX-8. The PhatNoise Digital Media Player has 20GB of storage for about 500 CDs worth of music. It integrates with the vehicle's existing stereo and steering wheel controls, and offers voice commands for searching through music files, said PhatNoise. The PhatNoise system is also available under the Kenwood Music Keg brand at Volkswagen and Audi dealerships. General Motors said. It will also offer a PhatNoise player option on upcoming crossover sports vans from Saturn, Pontiac, Chevrolet and Buick, said PhatNoise.
