Jasco Remote Line Zeroes In On Home Theater Experience

Oklahoma City— A new GE-brand line of remote controls — that focuses on enhancing the consumer's home theater experience and solves a retailer's "nightmare" of assortment, placement and multiple vendor problems — is available from Jasco Products.

This remote line, which offers a designed categorical look, including special packaging and clear graphics for a high-end, "classy" appearance, accommodates the needs of a complete home theater setup and controls all major components consumers might purchase. The packaging allows retailers and consumers to concentrate on one shelf location for home theater needs, and lets retailers gain multiple shelf placement options.

Features of the GE remote line include: works with all brands, offers coordinating colors and attractive styles, is specially designed for ease of home theater keypad navigation and usability and has code saver and code search feature. It also includes special picture-in-picture, audio control and home theater abilities, offers ergonomic design and supports television and DVD menu functions.

The Universal Home Theater Remote with DVR allows users to control a DVR, plus seven additional devices. Suggested retail is $16.99.

The Universal Home Theater Remote with LCD Display controls eight devices and offers a fully back-lighted keypad, LCD status display with clock and special surround sound receiver capability. A programmable macro feature controls multiple commands with one touch. Suggested retail is $49.99.

The Universal Home Theater Remote with Learning Capability controls six devices, automatically learns commands, has a fully back-lighted keypad and offers a learning feature that automatically learns up to 40 commands from each devices original remote. Suggested retail is $19.99.
