Mini-Tripod Holds Cellphone Digital Camera

Fort Worth, Texas— A new range of materials and applications has been announced for egrips technology from Flexible Innovations.

A thin silicone-based product, egrips is used to safeguard mobile phones, PDAs and other handheld electronic devices, keeping these from falling and breaking by giving users a better grip. With egrips, devices don't slip out of a user's hands or off the edges of slippery surfaces.

The latest version of the product offers more grip than ever, resisting peeling under wear and tear, and works with Palm Pilots, pocket PCs, portable CD and DVD players, remote controls, cordless phones, GameBoy units, GPS units, messaging devices, MP3 players, notebook computers, scanners and two-way radios.

Products featuring egrips technology are kept from sliding off the dashboard, around the car or out of a purse or pocket. Phones and other devices feel better with egrips, and egrips don't absorb dirt or oils and are easy to clean with a damp cloth. The removable adhesive allows users to easily change colors and replace worn egrips.

Suggested retails are $9.95 and $10.95.

Mini-Tripod Holds Cellphone Digital Camera

Markham, Ontario— Gentec International is introducing Planet Wireless Cellphone Tripod, a mini-tripod designed for cellphones with built-in digital cameras.

The mini-tripod features a cushioned vise-grip attachment that securely holds a phone to eliminate camera shake when taking a photo. The vise-grip attachment can be removed so the compact mini-tripod can be used with standard 35mm and digital cameras as well. The grip will hold cameras and other devices that don't have a standard tripod socket.

The vise-grip, which can be adjusted easily to the size of the phone, holds the phone securely in place to ensure a sharp digital photo. When not in use, the arms of the vise-grip fold down to make it more compact for storage.

The mini-tripod features a multi-position ball head for maximum versatility and 3-section extendible legs with rubber feet to provide steady support on uneven surfaces.

Suggested retail is $19.99.
