Premier Debuts Universal Projector Mount

Staff -- TWICE, 6/21/2004

Anaheim, Calif.— A "truly" universal projector mount that can attach nearly any projector at nearly any angle or elevation to nearly any surface is new from Premier Mounts.

Called model PBL-UMS, the Universal Projector Mount boasts construction that allows the mount to positively hold the projector fixed at any angle. Its design features four double-jointed support arms that allow flexible positioning to reach almost any mounting point.

Each arm can be precisely positioned to avoid covering important projector ventilation and access points used for lamp and air filter replacement. This minimizes heat build-up and maximizes lamp life.

"Unique" leveling barrels allow the PBL-UMS to adapt to any projector base, no matter how oddly shaped, to maintain a level installation.

At a suggested $199.99, the new mount features 360 degree rotation with more than plus or minus 20 degree tilt and roll, and ceiling-mount capability that includes vaulted or cathedral types and single studs or solid ceiling surfaces. Other features include wall-mount capability; adjustable height, from 9 inches to 12.5 inches, or a built-in low-profile option of only 2.5 inches from the mounting surface; and cable-routing channel for a clean look.

The PBL-UMS comes in a dark gray finish and is backed with Premier's lifetime guarantee.
