Phase Technology Introduces QuickMount System

Staff -- TWICE, 6/21/2004

Jacksonville, Fla. — A series of rectangular in-wall speakers, part of the Custom Installation Series from Phase Technology, is said to provide the "fastest and easiest mounting ever." The Series VII in-walls upgrade the company's Universal Frame and Grille System.

By using the company's QuickMount baffles and flip-latch locking mechanisms, consumers don't need screws and can save time and work by attaching speakers to wall flanges. The new design makes initial installation and future upgrade as "easy as snapping shut a briefcase," said the company.

And to maintain the value of Phase Technology's universal frame compatibility, each Series VII rectangular speaker is backward compatible with existing wall flanges. The largest rectangular in-wall from the company boasts a 7-inch woofer.

Phase Technology plans on upgrading Custom Installation Series round speaker baffles with QuickMount in the third quarter. Mounting system upgrades will not affect performance or price of any Custom Installation Series speaker.

Suggested retail is $150 for the CI-10 VII, $200 for the CI-20 VII, $250 for the CI-40 VII and $300 for the CI-60 VII. Scheduled shipping date for the Series VII speakers with QuickMount is July.

A new rectangular model, CI-70 VII, at a suggested $425 retail, also will be introduced with the QuickMount feature in August.

Phase Tech's line of Custom Installation Round Speakers with QuickMount will be introduced in the fourth quarter.
