Camp Hill, Pa.— D&H Distributing will hold its Third Annual Digital Convergence Expo here on Wednesday, July 21 at the Radisson Penn Harris Hotel & Convention Center. The show will bring CE retailers, IT resellers, A/V installers and home integrators together with some 40 digital technology manufacturers. Philadelphia— palmOne (formerly Palm, Inc.) has opened its eleventh retail store. The new flagship unit is located in the Philadelphia International Airport, and, like its sister stores, exclusively sells the Milpitas, Calif.-based company's Zire, Tungsten and Treo handheld mobile devices, software and accessories. The contract-operated locations were developed following a 2002 pilot program to reach new customers who don't necessarily shop in traditional office or high-technology superstores, the company said.

San Diego— GERS Retail Systems has rescheduled its Retail World user conference for March 7-10, 2005, at the Paradise Point Resort and Spa. The event, which has traditionally been held in August, was moved back to accommodate dealers "who may not usually be free in August," and to give attendees the "chance to see our latest product releases and make decisions earlier in your planning cycle that will impact your business success." The company said the decision was based on several years of customer feedback, and that more details on Retail World 2005 will be forthcoming.
