Brand Source/AVB Donates Goods

Staff -- TWICE, 6/7/2004

Anaheim, Calif.— The Brand Source/AVB buying group is providing complimentary consumer electronics and major appliances to 150 Ronald McDonald Houses and five Ronald McDonald Camp programs across the country this spring and summer.

According to Brand Source's executive director Bob Lawrence, the retail organization will offer each location up to five products, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, TVs and audio components, based on need, and local member dealers will directly participate in the program by delivering and installing the goods. The facilities serve as temporary residences for families of seriously ill children at nearby hospitals.

"Many Ronald McDonald Houses need new appliances and electronics items for visiting families. Brand Source [is] honored to help," Lawrence said.
