Panasonic System Features 'Smallest' Battery Charger

Secaucus, N.J.— Calling it the "smallest battery charger on the market," Panasonic is introducing its Quick Charger, capable of powering two up-to-2100mAh AA nickel metal hydride (NiMH) batteries in only two hours.
The 3.1-ounce charger has worldwide voltage capacity of AC 100V to 240V and accommodates up to four of the AA up-to-2100mAh sizes and two up-to-750mAh AAA cells.
Panasonic is offering two rechargeable systems, with the up-to-2100mAh AA NiMH batteries, both of which include the company's Quick Charger.
The BQ-390A/2K includes two of the AA batteries and the charger for a suggested $34.99 retail.
The BQ-390A/8KC and BQ-390ASB/8K, specially designed for warehouse clubs and the active battery user, come with six AA up-to-2100mAh cells and two up-to-750mAh AAA batteries. Suggested retail is $19.99.
Panasonic also offers individual up-to-2100mAh AA rechargeables in packs of two, four and six for suggested retails of $12.99, $19.99 and $12.49, respectively. The six-pack is solely for warehouse clubs.
The AAA 750mAh cells come in two-packs and six-packs, both for a suggested $12.99.
