Belkin Offers Keyboard/Mouse Combo

By Staff -- TWICE, 4/5/2004

COMPTON, CALIF.— Belkin is offering a "stylish" wireless keyboard and mouse that helps keep the desktop free of cables.

The Wireless Keyboard and Optical Mouse bundle, model F8E829-BNDL, gives users a "sleek look, comfort and powerful instant-access keys" to a desktop, said Belkin. It comes in a metallic silver design, with both devices complementing the newest color trends in today's computer systems, said Belkin.

The keyboard has a foldaway wristwrest and the ergonomic mouse features an enhanced wrist support, with both adding to a user's comfort. Connection is via USB or PS/2 and the package is compatible with PCs and Mac computers.

The keyboard allows one-touch access to Web sites, e-mail, applications and files with the customizable hot keys. Users can quickly navigate through music and videos using a Multimedia Center. The keyboard provides one-button Power Management keys to toggle sleep, wake-up and logoff functions on the computer. It also adjusts volume quickly and easily with an easy-grip knob.

The mouse provides programmable buttons to access shortcuts and applications. It supports a user's wrist with right-handed ergo-comfort design and allows instant access to frequently used Web functions and favorite Web sites using a one-touch SpeedWheel.

Suggested retail is $69.99, and shipping begins in North America in April.
