DeMartin Tapped As Mitsubishi VP

By Greg Tarr -- TWICE, 4/5/2004

IRVINE, CALIF.— Frank DeMartin, former Sharp Electronics sales and marketing senior director, has been named Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America (MDEA) A/V products division marketing VP.

DeMartin moves into the slot vacated last year by Bob Perry, another former Sharp executive who is now LG Electronics sales VP.

In his new post, DeMartin will be responsible for marketing, marketing communications, product development, government and industry relations, and training.

"Frank is a consumer electronics industry veteran, and we will rely on him to build on the momentum and reputation that Mitsubishi Electric currently enjoys," said Max Wasinger, MDEA sales and marketing senior VP.

While at Sharp, DeMartin was responsible for the development and marketing of AQUOS LCTV, HDTV and other consumer electronics products. Prior to joining Sharp, DeMartin was associate interactive technology director for Sony Electronics, where his responsibilities included research and development, strategic planning and business development.
