New Portable Monitor From KARVIEW

By Amy Gilroy -- TWICE, 3/22/2004

GREENSBURG, PA.— KARVIEW here is launching its first product — a 14.1-inch high-resolution monitor that can shuttle between the home, car and hotel. The unit is designed for portable use and weighs 3.74 pounds. It attaches to almost any removable car headrest via a folding "arm" that may remain in the car when the monitor is elsewhere. The monitor can be taken into the home or hotel for use with a gaming system, video camera, computer or other devices.

KARVIEW is a division of ID Parts, which specializes in monitor repair. The company teamed up with a division of Fujitsu to produce the KARVIEW mlm, which is manufactured in Taiwan and has a street price of $699.
