Premier Prestige Mounts Fit Apple Flat-Panel Displays

Staff -- TWICE, 2/23/2004

Anaheim, Calif.— Premier Mounts is offering a new line of Prestige mounts designed to fit the Studio and Cinema lines of flat-panel displays from Apple.

The mounts, which include a "unique" bracket that adapts to each of the monitors, supports a display at the center point for greater holding power. The Prestige line presents no risk of cracking plastic on the display and there are no clamps to readjust each time the display is moved, said Premier.

Each of the new Prestige mounts features a dedicated adapter bracket that securely attaches to the mounting points on the back of the flat panel.

Additions to the Prestige line include a tilt/pivot mount, PRP-230; the light-duty swing-out arm, UCME-230; and the heavy-duty swing-out arm, SOAD-230.

The PRP-230 allows users to tilt the panel up and down, pivot it back and forth and rotate it 360 degrees. It fits 17-inch to 20-inch displays.

The UCME-230, for 17-inch displays, can be mounted on a wall or under a cabinet, allowing users to extend the panel up to 12 inches from the mounting surface.

The SOAD-230, which fits 20-inch to 23-inch displays, offers full articulation with tilt, pivot and 360-degree rotation.

Suggested retails are $115 for the PRP-230, $194 for the UCME-230 and $314 for the SOAD-230.
