Staff -- TWICE, 11/24/2003

OAKDALE, MINN.— Imation has made available new high-speed DVD and CD-RW media products, including 4x DVD+R/RW, 4x DVD-R and 10x-24x Ultra-Speed CD-RW discs. These new formats are designed to make back-up procedures easier for consumers and small business owners who operate in today's high-capacity computing environment.

Imation's new 4x DVD media feature a rewritable format that allows 1,000 rewrite cycles, two-way compatibility between DVD video discs and players with DVD+RE discs and recorders, the ability to hold seven times more data than a full-size CD-R and long archival life.

The 10x-24x Ultra Speed discs read compatible with CD-R/RW drives and multi-read CD-R/CD-ROM, DVD-ROM and rewritable DVD drives. These are rewritable up to 1,000 times and also have long archival life.

Suggested retails include $23.89 for a 5-pack of 4x DVD+/-R, $110.56 for a 25-pack spindle of 4x DVD+/-R, $10.29 for a 5-pack of 10x-24x CD-RW and $55.56 for a 25-pack of 10x-24x CD-RW.
