Duracell Batteries Work For Bon Jovi

Staff -- TWICE, 11/24/2003

BETHEL, CONN.— Duracell batteries has launched advertising and promotions featuring Bon Jovi as an addition to its "Trusted Everywhere" campaign.

The Bon Jovi tie-in includes an individual 30-second TV spot and distinct promotional programs, part of the band's "This Left Feels Right" album, a collection of the group's greatest hits that have been completely reworked and slated for a fall debut.

The Bon Jovi commercial highlights the use of Duracell batteries to power the band's wireless microphones, while performing on stage. The Duracell battery is portrayed as the only battery the band and crew trust for their microphone's power source.

Along with the TV spot, Duracell, a segment of Gillette, is offering a wide variety of account-specific promotions at retail, including "music cash" instant savings on the Bon Jovi CD, with the purchase of specific packages of Duracell batteries.
