BDI Launches Flat-Panel TV Furniture Line

Staff -- TWICE, 11/24/2003

CHANTILLY, VA.— BDI is introducing a collection of home theater furniture engineered specifically for plasma and LCD televisions.

Called the ICON collection, products are available in three models for a variety of flat-screen TVs.

The ICON 9423 offers a rotating stand and is perfect for a 30-inch to 42-inch LCD or plasma unit. It has adjustable lower shelves to accommodate a center channel speaker and/or one or two components. Built-in swivel allows the entire stand to rotate to ensure the best view from any angle. Wire management is conducted through the rear panel, as is the case for the two other units. Suggested retail is $695 and shipping is this December.

The ICON 9429 is a stand for plasma TVs up to 60 inches. It offers room on the adjustable lower shelves for an entire system, including a center channel speaker. Shipping also is in December, with a suggested $895 retail.

The ICON 9424, which is shipping in the first quarter of 2003, at a suggested $745 retail, is ideal for medium-sized plasma and LCD TVs. It features an adjustable lower shelf and the width to accommodate two components side by side.
