New Jasco Remote Keyed To MP3 Market

Staff -- TWICE, 11/10/2003

Oklahoma City— Jasco Products is exclusively marketing a new GE-brand MP3 accessory in order to accommodate the growing MP3 market.

Called the GE Universal Remote with PC Control, model HO97685, the five-device remote allows users to take control of the multimedia applications on their computers. Through applications such as Windows Media Player and RealPlayer, the Jasco remote performs functions such as volume adjust, play and pause, skip or repeat tracks for MP3s, CDs and DVDs.

The RF remote, which is able to control a television, DVD player, cable box, satellite receiver, VCR and any other compatible device, has an approximate 100-foot range through walls, ceilings and floors.

Compatible with over 350 audio/ video brands, the remote needs no set-up for most GE, ProScan and RCA A/V models. It also offers ease of use, where code search scans a library to automatically set A/V equipment. Any PC is controlled through a USB port. Suggested retail is $29.99.
