Rick Calacci, Sharp Electronics Consumer Electronics Group senior VP and general manager, resigned "to work closer to his family in the Midwest," the company said. While a permanent replacement has not been named, in the interim Noboru Fujimoto, president of Sharp Electronics Marketing Corporation of America (SEMCA), will serve as acting general manager. Calacci "will assist in the orderly transition of his responsibilities," the company said …Hideaki Irie named president and chief operating officer of SEGA of America.
