Lenmar's Replacement Battery For DVD Boosts Staying Power

By Staff -- TWICE, 9/29/2003

Camarillo, Calif.— Lenmar is cutting a trail into the DVD battery business, where it expects its batteries to meet or exceed OEM battery standards, such as with its model DVDP501 replacement for the Panasonic CGP-H501.

The DVDP501 is a No-MEM lithium-ion 7.2V 6800mAh replacement battery, compared with the 4500mAH OEM Panasonic CGP-H501.

While the Panasonic battery lasts about five hours with the LCD on, the Lenmar battery lasts 7.5 hours with the LCD on, said Lenmar. Lenmar's battery works with DVD LX9, LA95, LA85, LV75, LV65, LV55, LV50, PA65 and PV55 DVD players.

Suggested retail is $179.95.
