InfoUSA Introduces New Titles

By Doug Olenick -- TWICE, 9/15/2003

Phoenix— InfoUSA showed off its new software line that combines five of its old titles under two new labels at RetailVision.

Going on sale Oct. 1 are InfoUSA's Sales Leads USA - Residential Edition and Sales Leads USA - Business Edition. Each will carry a $149.99 estimated street price, said Shirlee Jacobson, the company's sales manager. The Residential Edition gives the buyer access to a database containing 220 million people, while the business version database has 13 million entries. The company uses a variety of sources to create the databases, including local telephone directories and real estate listings.

These titles replace the firm's former titles Select Phone Pro, Powerfinder, Business Mailing Lists, Consumer Mailing Lists and Business and Consumer Mailing Lists.

The titles are geared toward small businesses looking for names, addresses and phone numbers of individuals and companies that might want to do business with them. The titles also include various marketing tools including advertising tips and a Direct Mail For Dummies booklet. Also bundled is a separate title called Directory AssistanceUSA, which is a CD-ROM-based telephone directory. Because of current spam problems, e-mail addresses are not included, Jacobson said.
