Pryme Unveils FRS Accessories Division

By Staff -- TWICE, 4/7/2003

Brea, Calif.— Pryme Radio Products, a trademark of Premier Communications, has announced a new consumer radio accessory division that will be operated out of distribution space here. The division is expected to meet the demand for audio accessories in the Family Radio Service (FRS) market.

All consumer radio products will be sold under the VoxTronix by Pryme brand, to differentiate the new setup from the company's existing professional line of products.

The initial consumer offering will consist of a full line of audio products for FRS use, including a remote speaker microphone, boom microphone and a lapel microphone/earphone combination. Product will be available for use with family radio models from Motorola, Cobra, Midland, Kenwood, Icom and Vertex-Standard. All of the new VoxTronix brand products are compatible with Voice Operated Transmit (VOX) function that is a popular feature of most Family Radios. FRS accessories range from $19.95 to $24.95.
