Yamaha Pays At'10'tion To CD-R Recordable Media

By Staff -- TWICE, 3/24/2003

Buena Park, Calif.— Yamaha Electronics is offering its 4x CD-R discs in a 10-pack — the format the company calls the most popular for mass data and music duplication. The product has a full-color, shrink-wrapped sleeve, with each disc shrink-wrapped in its own jewel-case.

Certified for up to 48x recording, the Yamaha CDR80M4810 has 700MB, or 80 minutes, of capacity. It is compatible with 1x through 48x recording, and 100 percent compatible with all Yamaha CD-R and CD-RW drives, as well as nearly all other drives.

Applications include archival storage, audio CD recording, compiling songs on a CD, distribution of large files, MP3 music downloading, multimedia presentations, photo albums, photo storage, record keeping, software backup and write and record music.

Suggested retail is $14.99.
