Case Logic Offers Sporty Portable Storage Line

By Staff -- TWICE, 2/24/2003

Longmont, Colo.— Case Logic is introducing a line of portable storage wallets and cases that have been co-developed by skateboarder Tony Hawk, BMXer Dave Mirra and snowboarder Shaun Palmer.

Called the Action Sport Signature Series, the introductions have been tied to these athletes, so each has his own unique co-branded product line, including CD wallets, folios, CD player cases, games cases for portable players and media, CD visors, digital camera cases and wireless phone cases. All the products incorporate elements from the action sports lifestyle — such as rugged, hip styling — and the athlete's sport itself.

For example, the Hawk line incorporates elements of a skateboard design, while the Palmer line features water-resistant fabrics to provide added durability for today's active youth.

Case Logic is offering 33 new products, combined with the recognizable insignias of the athletes. These will include a Palmer 48-capacity wallet in blue at a suggested $16.99 retail; a Hawk 24-capacity wallet in black, gray and red at $11.99; and a Mirra digital camera case in gray, black and white at $14.95. Others include a Hawk CD player case at $14.99, a Palmer game case at $11.99 and a Mirra 24-capacity wallet for $11.99.

Availability is scheduled for May.

Case Logic also is introducing a line of Compact Performance Storage Accessories that include CD storage and protection accessories for the car, namely 10-disc-capacity CD organizers for a vehicle's sun visor and 20-disc-capacity slim folios that fit snugly in a car door's side compartment. These feature the latest in aftermarket auto design, such as Asian-inspired dragons, classic flames and the cutting-edge kickback flames.

The automotive accessories are not only designed to complement individual styles, but also to address the Compact Performance market, comprised of drivers who customize the exterior and interior of their vehicles.

Products include the AVT-10 Flame, a 10-capacity CD visor with a flame design for a suggested $6.99 retail and the AFT-20 Dragon, a 20-capacity CD folio with an embroidered dragon on the front at a suggested $9.99 retail. Also from Case Logic is the AFT-20 Kickback, a 20-capacity CD folio with a raised red and gray kickback flame design for a suggested $9.99 retail.
