Auravision Keyboard Lights Up The Dark
By Staff -- TWICE, 2/24/2003
San Juan, Capistrano, Calif.— Auravision is introducing EluminX computer data entry products, with the initial unit in the line called EluminX Illuminated Keyboard.
The product is a computer keyboard with internal luminescence or lighting — said by the company to be the first commercially available computer keyboard that remains totally visible even in the dark or low-lighted work spaces.
The keyboard eliminates glare from task lighting, eases eyestrain and makes the keys easy to see, said Aurvision. It comes in sapphire blue and aquamarine illumination, with more colors available soon.
Initially, the keyboard, which has a $99.95 suggested retail, will be sold through the Internet and through a special TV campaign. By the first quarter of 2003, EluminX will be available in retail stores.
Exclusive rights to the technology have been granted to Auravision by the patent-holding licensor, Twenty First Century Technologies.
Auravision was created when Ennova, the full-service product development and marketing company, joined forces with GWD Group, the marketing and technology management firm.
