New SoundKase Backpack Offers Sounds Of Music

Oxnard, Calif.— Among the progressive innovations from the SoundKase division of Scosche Industries this year is a full audio backpack with dual 4-in. directional speakers and power supply, called SoundSak Sonic.
The unit includes quick-release audio/camera pod with four built-in CD pockets. It holds a 70 to 100-oz. hydration reservoir and accommodates a CD player, MP3 player, headphones, gear and books.
Made of 600D water-resistant fabric, rip-stop nylon accents and 420D PVC, the SoundSak is available in charcoal, navy and royal blue accent colors (models SKSP2C, SKSP2N and SKSP2RB, respectively).
Dimensions outside are 18 inch by 15 inch by 8 inch, with an interior volume of 2,242 cubic inch, including the pod. The backpack offers a large main compartment for gear, dual side accessory pockets and gussetted mesh cell phone pouch.
The backpack uses six AA batteries, with a battery life of about 10 hours. Speakers offer 5 watts per channel and the backpack includes padded shoulder straps and back panels. Suggested retail is $129.99 and ships in spring.
