LAS VEGAS— Ordinary plastic jewel cases can be turned into disc racks by interlocking the cases.
With this product, called RIMS, for Removable Interlocking Media Storage, from Fremont, Calif.-based STI Certified Products, jewel cases stack and securely lock, similar to Lego products. The patented technology emphasizes stackability, expandability, accessibility and portability for disc storage.
RIMS allows users to easily organize and protect discs, securely lock and stack cases up to five feet, access CDs and DVDs with easily removable slide-out trays, rearrange discs without restacking cases, and personalize discs with included labels.
Suggested retails are $4.99/5-pack, $8.99/10-pack, $21.99/25-pack and $41.99/50-pack.
