JBS Launches Security Brand For Installers

Staff -- TWICE, 12/23/2002

STEUBENVILLE, OHIO — After supplying do-it-yourself remote start systems to mass merchants under the Bulldog brand, JBS Technologies is entering the installer segment with a new line of remote start products aimed at 12-volt specialists, CE chains and new car dealers and expediters. The products will be sold under the Magnum brand.

JBS is planning to release four new Magnum remote start and two new vehicle security devices designed for simple installation. The models plug into a T harness for OEM connections and are manufactured in the United States. The units also have a keyless transponder bypass module, eliminating the need for a key behind the dash in certain Ford, Honda, GM and Lexus models.

Also included in the new Magnum line are two alarms under the Titanium and Titanium SE series.
